We believe God works through prayer, and when we prayer walk, we begin to see our communities the way He does, full of divine potential. We also believe prayer movements precede disciple making movements. So, let’s pray!
On Saturday, November 1st, 2025, we are joining together with our friends at CityLife to rally people across the United States to pray over apartment communities. It is our desire to saturate these spaces with prayer.
As we walk through apartment courtyards, sidewalks, and parking lots, we will be praying for the residents who call apartments home. We will do this by praying for their physical needs, emotional peace, openness to God, and a sense of belonging.

2025 National Apartment Prayer Walking Day
When: Anytime on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. You pick a time that works best for you and your group.
Who can participate? Churches, individuals, small groups, families, mission teams, nonprofits, youth groups, anyone who wants to see God known and glorified in apartment communities.
Why a prayer walk around apartments? We are asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the work God is already doing and wants to do in apartments by inviting people on the property to physically see the community, and we are working to amplify the idea of apartment ministry. We want people to start to think about how they can see, serve, and disciple residents in apartment communities.
Do I need to sign up if I want to participate? Nope! But we are asking people to share about participation in one of two ways:
1) Take a photo of the apartment community you pray for or the group you are praying with and either send it to [email protected] or share it on social media with the hashtag #NationalApartmentPrayerWalkingDay2025
2) Fill out this form so we can keep track of communities prayed for.
How exactly does a prayer walk work? Grab a friend, small group, family member, or go on your own, and pick a local apartment community to pray for and then walk (or drive!) around the community.
