Dear Mission 98 Community,
When I accepted the position with Mission 98, it was a local expression which primarily served people in the Denver metro area. Today, under Community Growth Foundation, we are working with partners in 16 states! This means we are providing both in-person and virtual customized training to churches, parachurches, and individuals, access to regional resident impact directors, ongoing support, monthly webinars, and an online community of people who share stories, ask questions, and learn about apartment ministry together. All of this is 100% free and made possible through a growing number of churches, organizations, and people like you.
What specifically does this mean for residents in apartment communities?
Here are just some of the ways Mission 98 is impacting the lives of apartment residents:
- Churches across the U.S. adopting entire apartment communities to see, serve, and disciple people in apartments
- Christian parenting class in a Las Vegas apartment community
- People rallying together in prayer and covering entire apartment communities in prayer
- Financial literacy classes onsite in an Austin apartment community
- Bible studies held in community rooms
- Apartment Ministry Basics training for churches, nonprofits, and people across the nation to help them better serve people locally
- Baptisms
- Community meals and events with impact
- Residents being introduced to God and being discipled by believers so they in turn could disciple someone else
- The hope of Christ introduced to apartment residents
Stats from 2025
Our vision is simple yet powerful: to bring the hope of Christ to people right where they live. Through prayer and relationships built in everyday spaces, God is opening doors for lives to be transformed and as lives are transformed, people are working to transform the lives of someone else.
As we head into the final stretch of the year, I am incredibly excited to report we only need $11,858 to meet our annual goal and start 2026 off strong!
