On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Mission 98 is joining our friends at CityLife to rally people all across the United States to pray over apartment communities. Our desire is simple: saturate these spaces with prayer.
As we walk through courtyards, sidewalks, and parking lots, we will be praying for the residents who call apartments home. We will pray for their physical needs, emotional peace, openness to God, and a sense of belonging.

What Is National Apartment Prayer Walking Day?
National Apartment Prayer Walking Day is a day when churches, individuals, small groups, families, mission teams, and nonprofits from across the country come together to prayer walk apartment communities near where they live, work, or worship. This day has grown into a national movement, and last year alone saw prayer walkers show up in 16 cities and 10 states, and praying over nearly 7,000 apartment units.

Anytime on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Pick whatever time works best for you and your group. Last year, entire churches released members into the community to pray over apartments the Sunday after the national day. That works great too!
Who Can Participate in the Prayer Walk?
Anyone! Churches, individuals, small groups, families, youth groups, mission teams, residents who live in apartment communities, and nonprofits are all welcome. If you want to see God known and glorified in apartment communities, you are invited.
Why Focus on Apartments?
Apartments are one of the largest unreached, yet open, mission fields in the U.S., right in our own backyards. Consider that 40% of the U.S. lives in multifamily housing. Mission fields have to be saturated with prayer before the harvest, and apartments are ready and waiting.
What Does an Prayer Walk Focused on Apartments Actually Look Like?
It is simpler than you might think. Grab a friend, your small group, a family member, or go solo. Pick a local apartment community and walk (or drive!) around it while praying. As you go, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what He is already doing there, to soften hearts, and to open doors for real conversations. If you meet a resident, let them know you are praying for their community and ask how you can pray for or serve them. Keep it warm, keep it genuine.
